CELEBRATION CUPCAKES


We're believing in Bonnie Tyler as she sings for Great Britain in the +Eurovision Song Contest tonight! If you're also holding out for a hero then turn around and bake these delicious Celebration Cupcakes in support! They're a total eclipse of delicious... #Eurovision

CELEBRATION CUPCAKES

Prep time:  15 -20 minutes
Cook time:  15 minutes
Makes 12

Ingredients:
100g unsalted butter, softened
100g caster sugar
2 medium eggs
100g self raising flour
6 Twirl Bites, chopped
12 cupcake cases

Buttercream:
125g softened unsalted butter
125g icing sugar
50g Cadbury Dairy Milk, melted

red , white and blue sprinkles
12 Twirl Bites, halved

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to Gas 5, 190 C and place 12 paper cases into a 12 hole bun tray.
2. In a bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until light and creamy, add the eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition.  Fold in the sieved flour and chopped Twirl bites and divide the mixture between  the cases.  Bake in oven for 15 minutes, until well risen and golden brown. Cool.
3. Prepare the buttercream by beating together the butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy, then beat in the melted chocolate.  Place into a piping bag with nozzle and pipe onto the top of the cakes.
4. Decorate with sprinkles and  two halves of Twirl bites.
